State lawmakers heard passionate testimony Thursday for a bill that would change the driver's license renewal process. Victims' family members joined national experts for a briefing in Annapolis in hopes of changing state law to require older drivers to renew their licenses in person. They want changes made to better evaluate driving ability. For Josie and Mike Hollingsworth, the doctor's words still sting, "She didn't make it." In the fall of 2014, their 23-year-old daughter, Lauren, died after she was struck by an 81-year-old driver.
